Dropping my 2k split within a months time

Hello there, I'm a 15 yr sophomore, 65.7 kg, 5' 10" with a 2k last recorded mid December being 7:23. My latest 500m dash at 36 rate was 1:37 and I'm trying to drop my 2k to sub 7 minutes and I don't know what erg pieces or weighted exercises I should do to get there as quickly as possible. I have been rowing only for 8 months and want to go to varsity but I'm not placed high up compared to my more experienced teammates based on my early limited experience and 2k time and I want to get as fast as I can as soon as I can. Can anyone suggest some stuff I can do?
