Hello

I don't understand how to work this exercise:

Stroke counting pyramid. 1 stroke on/1 stroke off, 2 stroke on/2 stroke off, up to 30 on/30 off and back down to 1 on/1 off.

Please help me.

No idea. I assume it means 'off' is a soft weaker stroke but I can't figure out why you would want to do it as a pyramid.

After warmup, I'd start at 10 off and 10 on. Where OFF is close to your normal full stroke pulled at 18-20 and ON is full at 25-30.

Your stroke is worth Power/Rating: keep it high.

I can't stand workouts where the biggest challenge is keeping count or attempting to remember what you're supposed to be doing. Does training really have to be this complex?

The c2 wods offer some complex interval sets for use in ergdata, with a single click once you're in:

The advantage of these is variety, we never know what we get; and if we like one, it's stored on PM memory. Some are kCal based too.

Simple sets like AxB'+C"R are easy to set up and repeat, but they don't offer surprises.
