Thank you John! Certainly easy enough to DIY. It sounds like they were a "one hit wonder" in 2007 and then you moved back to the standard handle, yes? If my read is correct, given that they were quite nice, why did they have such a brief run?

I continued to prefer and use the rubber handles until I sold the Rowerg in 2009.
Slidewinder likewise made an interesting handle, discussed on this thread, and shown on this Youtube video.
