Mixed Rower / BikeErg Training Plan?

I have a Model D rower which I really like and have just purchased a BikeErg.
I am hoping to use both to improve my fitness level and lose 25 lbs.
Can anyone point me to a general training plan that mixes both devices? Ie. row one day, bike another ...
Could I use the beginner Pete training plan but do some of the sessions on the bike instead?
Thanks in advance,
Gary

Hi Gary,
I think rower and BikeErg is a good combo, I used them both too and had good improvements. When I did my training similar to pete plan I did the hard sessions on the rower and the steady state sessions mostly on the bike, the bike sessions should be a good bit longer (e.g. 45min bike instead of 8k rowing). I did this because my back, shoulders and arms were not fully adepted to this long rowing and started to hurt/get injured, by using the bike these body parts were not overstrained anymore.
Cheers,
Martin

That’s how I’ve integrated bike too. Mostly because my focus is on rowing. And locking into a steady state in the bike is real easy - I can maintain a very steady hr on it and it’s very comfortable

I also have both the rower and the bike, but I've been disappointed in the bike. I can go bike for an hour, and when I look at the stats I can only think "shoot, I could have done that in 30 minutes on the rower" or "I could have done twice that number in an hour on the rower". I just seems like I have to go twice as far / long on the bike to accomplish the same on a rower.
The positive is that the wife enjoys the bike. So we're both spending time on the machine we like.
