Using the Dyno properly

On a whim (well, an advised whim) I have just bought a Concept2 Dyno strength trainer through eBay. Apart from one hiccup, where all resistance dropped on the leg press at full force, whacking my legs out straight instantly and banging off the rail (ouch) I'm really enjoying using it - and (I've only had it a week) feel it's a good addition to my rowing and free weights training.
I realise this is obsolete technology - but if anyone can help with one question, I'd appreciate it.
What the heck are the Ethernet RJ45 ports on the back for? Can I hook it into a computer running the Venue software to track meters pulled/pushed or something?!? AFAIK - RowPro only works through USB so I can't use that. But as a digital data junkie, if there's a way for me to track total effort as well as the individual exercises, I'd love to hear about it!
Thanks,
John
