Wireless headphones?

I used to use bulky over the ear headphones that died on me... Never really liked them, because it would get hot and extra sweaty. So, I am in the market for a nice pair of headphones, but there's a lot of those Bluetooth earbud type of headphones out there, it gets quite confusing... Some of them rest of the neck, and I don't know how comfortable it would get with all the back and forth... Some of them have batteries inside the ear piece, and they sort of stick out - I wonder if they could fall out during rowing. Anyway, can someone with actual experience rowing with wireless headphones recommend something, I would really appreciate it!

I have very small ear canals, so the normal ones just fall out after a while. The only thing i can wear ate the ear pod style ( not exclusively apple, I hasten to add). Or ones that wrap on the ear. I have some beats wireless, which whilst being on the expensive side are very good. And sweat proof.
I am looking forward to the air pod or the new beats (3?) quick other similar quality...
Just hate having to remortgage the house or sell my first born to be able to afford them..

I use Motorola S10 HD Bluetooth Stereo Headphones. They wrap around the back of my neck, and stay put no matter how hard I row. I really like them. The only problem I have is that I sweat a lot, and occasionally have to take the headphones off to shake the water out of my ears. Still, this would happen to me whatever headphones I have, and at least these ones don't rust. I've seen them for sale online for $20, at that price they are a steal! I would not use them for running though, for that I would prefer wired buds with plastic that wraps round individual ears, as they are lighter, but a wire really does not work for me on the rower.

I use these: https://www.bose.com/en_us/products/hea ... hones.html from Bose.
Don't fall out, great sound and long battery life.

You can try to get one of those swoosh headbands, they are cheap and comfortable. They keep sweat away from headphones. I also wear those on wrists, to keep sweat away from gloves.

I've had a cheap "AYL" brand for under $30 US for over a year now. Great performance. Tend to slip out only on occasion but I've worn those suckers out - 6 days a week for an hour on the rower. I honestly would not spend more than you have to. Some of the cheaper ones work very, very well now. The one I have has the battery on the earphone and it doesn't come out.

Has anyone had any experience with the noise canceling head phones? I row in a relatively small room and at times the sensory assault of the resistance unit is something I can do without.

Was thinking of these:

I went through nearly a dozen sets in a little over a year. Did not have one in ear set last a full month until I go these

8 hour battery life, they sound really good, they do let in a fair amount of ambient noise though. I don't have an issue with that. They stay in place and so far have lasted longer than anything I've ever had. Costco had them on sale for around $50 thanksgiving weekend.

Best set of bluetooth ear phones I've ever used.

Good idea, I'll give that a try as soon as possible. I should also try the wristband approach, my gloves end up soaked well before I finish...

I have a few pairs of Sennheiser wired headphones. Something along these lines: http://www.hoofdtelefoonstore.nl/produc ... ports.html

I prefer wired headphones, they always work, are generally cheaper and I firmly believe in KISS principle.

They don't get in the way at all both while running and erging, and can be rinsed to get rid of the sweat.

I use Etymotic passive noise cancelling earbuds and a Koss infrared adapter to transmit sound from the PC to a little module that clips to my waist. The earphones plug into it. I like this over radio wireless as there is no static or interference and I can use the higher-quality earphones in other places.

I had no interest in wireless headphones until I started erging. Wired was always good enough. After a few times getting the cord caught on something close to my machine and yanked out of my ears, I decided it was time to try wireless. I borrowed the wife's JBL Reflect Mini BTs from her and really liked them. I just got my own set this morning for Christmas. Nice sound and stay in well. Just have to see how they work when I run too. Pretty decent price at $100.

I use Etymotic HF-5 headphones. They block outside noise better than any other I've found. I use an extension cord and clip them to my left hip.

Hillary Clinton apparently likes them too.

The Etymotic headphones fit better the more you wear them. The more wax that builds up on them makes them seal better, plus the rubber starts to mold to your ear canal.

If all I want is music, I just clip my iPod Shuffle to my shirt collar, and the short headphone cord never tangles up on anything. I just ordered a BT transmitter for the downstairs TV - along with some IKOPO sport phones - when I'm working out in the AM, the TV can be pretty loud....and it's still hard to hear over the rower.
