World Record Attempt - live broadcast - 23 Aug'12
Posted: August 15th, 2012, 6:37 pm
On 23rd August 2012 from 9am (British Summer Time) we will be attempting to take the world record for the greatest distance rowed by one man in 24 hours on an erg. We are doing this to raise money for cancer research.
We will be broadcasting the attempt live, together with a live data stream of HR, %VO2max, EPOC etc. and a chat room. You can find all the details (including the webcast) at http://www.q-power.co.
Most of us at Q-Power Indoor Rowing Team have someone close to us who has fought cancer - sometimes successfully reflecting all the hard work done to date - and sometimes sadly not, reflecting how much more there is still to do. We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of people who have given donations so far. If you would like to contribute, please visit http://www.justgiving.com/q-power.
