I hope the above link works, I’ve never linked something to this forum before.
That aside, I’m very happy with this result. I must stress to those who think that I have good days all the time are very much mistaken. It took me 16 attempts to break the former world record of 386m held by Jasper Liu. I have accomplished this, whilst making two school boy mistakes: I used max drag (230) which was probably about 70-80 too high and due to this I could rate up as much as I should of. The average rate was 37, much too low considering that people like Phil Clapp and Chris Scott rate from 40 to 50 in this event. Apart from that though I am of course over the moon with this feat.
I originally wasn’t going to post about what my goals are but I thought about it and I may as well let the much loving rowing community know: I’d like to push the LWT 1’ record to 400m, to become the first LWT to join the exclusive 400m club.

Like mentioned on IG, this is an amazing achievement, and you definitely have age working on your side! Go for 400 meters, and I also look forward to seeing your 2k attempt. Don't know how old your current PB is, but sub 7 should be possible now?faach1 wrote: ↑January 8th, 2021, 2:02 pmhttps://www.concept2.co.uk/indoor-rowe ... ight=Lwt

I looked at the C2 weight adjusted calculator. I know I’m a long way away from 400m 1’ but that equals 445m adjusted. Does this mean that the HWT 1’ Record is weaker compared to the current all time LWT record of 393m held by Ben Smith? Or am I over analysing?

Definitely went off hard there Alex! Big PB that though, well done!
New 5km PB for me today. Nice to get one so early in the year, hoping for plenty more.
![Image](https://i.imgur.com/uThyr8R.jpg?1)
Took 3.3 seconds off my previous 5km PB which i'd set in October. Target was to hold 1:53.0 split but didn't quite manage that, even so very happy with the time.
