I've found that this is revealing of good technique for me. If I'm properly hanging from the bar (with my one hand positioned over the center of the bar) and engaging my legs, then this doesn't have a huge impact on my power -- wattage drops by maybe 20 percent. If I'm getting lazy and not engaging legs properly, wattage drops by nearly half.
