Ranger's training thread
Re: Ranger's training thread
Anyone wondering now why there are no trials reported?

Re: Ranger's training thread
The stroke data aint going to look pretty, lots of 2.15s plus showing there.
Cue, the usual not sharpened yet, wait until WIRC etc.
Time to avoid posting again on this thread until the man performs to match his postings, get me out of here !
I couldnt see him on the rostrum to collect his bronze medal!

... and he didn't even have the decency to show up for the awards stand presentation to get his bronze... & (!) to congratulate Paul Wenham.
It's his weight guys... He's a great rower who shouldn't row lwt. It beats him up too much.
This was pathetic.

Re: Ranger's training thread
He should forget the ridiculous fascination with low body fat and concentrate on WIRC as a HW

Re: Ranger's training thread
I took several screen shots of Wenham's victory race:
You can see ranger ahead here for the last time:
Look at the pace 950 meters into the race TSO is already at 1:44 pace....
Wenham blew by him erging even splits.
Ranger never had anything in this event. I wonder how many hours of exercise he put in the morning to make weight ?
This should be a lesson to anyone who thinks they should compete way under their natural weight.
BTW: Congratulations to David Hislop! (aka roadrunner) from the UK forum..
And.. who's this guy, Steve Brown? (silver 55-59 lwt..) Great Job.

Re: Ranger's training thread
Wow. Thank goodness he didn't do all the worthless sprinting like Nav. Way to man-up and skip the awards presentation...that was particularly classy. It's been fun boys, see you on another thread!
Re: Ranger's training thread
I am puzzled. He did not break 7 minutes. Even I did not expect this. Obviously the level of his "Lyin Cocksucker" routine is way beyond what I can comprehend. He needs an intervention, seriously.

Re: Ranger's training thread
I want to know wether he really believes what he is posting here.
It seems to be so since he didn't show up at the medal ceremony.
But if he really does believe it he should have been at 1:35 for at least 300m.
I couldn't tell wether he was or not.

Next in the TSO annual routine:jliddil wrote: his ...routine is way beyond what I can comprehend.
He'll be off to the hinterland this winter to find a race where he can weigh-in many hours ahead of post time.
I predict he'll go 5 for 5 in his no show-chain for CRASH-Bs...
As for me:
I'm going to try to brave the withdrawal symptoms from going r-thread-less.
There's nothing left to discuss... not that there was a week ago
If I post... it will be elsewhere.
200 meters in.... "happy with that"

Re: Ranger's training thread
His first 142 was within 100 meters. and his first paddle 2.00 plus was around 900/1100 meter. From the start he did not keep one pace, but went up and down in pace between mostly 140/145. he alsmost did not stroke stroke below 140.H2O wrote:I want to know wether he really believes what he is posting here.

This really shows how he is training, not keeping pace always.
Re: Ranger's training thread
For me this sums up the kind of person Ranger truly is. That's behaviour originating from the gutter as far as I'm concerned. Hopefully he'll crawl back there and stay put...mikvan52 wrote:... and he didn't even have the decency to show up for the awards stand presentation to get his bronze... & (!) to congratulate Paul Wenham..
