Hey Jules,

yes I feel the same way about the numbers. The 1k was done a little bit ago and I reckon I could beat that easily now, and also I'm quite a fatty up at 20+ % fat, so I'm not *that* heavyweight in terms of useful mass.

Having said that, I do feel I've got an engine in me of a younger person and the body of a 40yr old, I'm just trying to make sense of it, and loving every minute :)

Kind regards
Andy

Quick update,

as previous posts have been saying, I'm focusing on the weight - now down to 95.5kg 18% fat, so getting there!

I couldn't help but have another go at the 2k, brought my time down to 6:50, which I'm pleased with, although it wasn't an all-out effort, it was actually my warmup which turned in to a bit of a pull, yes I know, very bad etc but still, other things I'm doing seem to be affecting my times even if I'm not 100% rowing focused right now! HJS was predicting 6m46 which I know is in there, probably go end of month again :)

I did do a 10min effort of 2821m which I was really pleased with!

Target for weight is 85kg still, and we'll see how much fat that is, but I'm 78kg lean, so as I lose weight down should be 8-10% fat being the target

Happy rowing everyone!

Andy
PS nice to see people having good workouts and improving so much!!
