Amazing

Isn't that a WR for your age? 50-59

I think you also got the 60' WR?
Could be, just emailed c2, don,t know how this works exactly.
Thx, do expect you to do well soon also. Records in the 40 plus are already very strong though.
Will try to build my fitness a bit further, won,t be easy but its slowly picking up atm.
Don't expect to break any WR's as Kristian Stenshamn in the 40-49 category has put up some really strong times

Do you follow the same principles for training as you do with the rower?
41y/o, 187cm, 93kg
PBs(Ski/Row): 500m 1:17.4 WR/1:23.5 -- 1K 2:49.3 WR/2:59.5 -- 2K 6:17.0/6:17.0 -- 5K 17:10.2/16:45.5 -- 6K 20:18.3 -- 10K/r24 35:24.7 -- 1' 396m WR -- 4' 1346m WR/1306m -- 30' 8420m/8659m

No, he is very strong.
This winter both on the rower and skierg I only have done longer work. For both I use rate changes. Difference is rating, on the rower 18/24 av20. Skierg 32/45 av36. I think on the skierg trying to rate up is important.
Maybe for a guy like you who very easily rates high less so. On the rower I rate 30/31 on my 2k never higher.
I do find the rower much more taxing, could be the rating that makes it harder.

Conquered your new love, eh Henry. Why the thumb/foot numbness? Machine outdoors?

Mostly the cold, floor is around zero, so the cold creeps up.
Hands, partly also the cold, a few degrees above freezing in the ched, and general numbness in my left arm

Might as well. 10k as well, or do you have that already?

No, only did the 60 and 30 min. 10k is relative strong. My first idea was to first go that and from there try others.
Atm I need a bit extra to get the 10k. Or a really good day. I do the time trials without a taper or speedwork. Want to keep training without overcooking. My relative weakness is fitness. Speed is good enough. Not that I am a sprinter, but for 2k and above speed is not holding me back.

Its very basic and repetitive Glenn, my logbook is open would anyone care, but really its boring. Atm roughly 6 sessions a week, 3/3 ski/row, 12/15k per sesh. Often rate ladders. Rowing 18/20/22/24, ski 32/36/40/44....
But again boring .... Very slowly getting fitter. Also getting lighter, 92 kg, that trend should stop, should eat more.
