It all comes back to the same BS. Paul wants to do whatever he wants and to be left alone to do it, while also pointing out the failures and noncomformance of the rest of us. Oh to have such a privileged position. For **** ****, we are just doing this stuff for a bit of fun and fitness. Who besides Paul cares that Anthony had one split at r21?

It's groundhog day. Whenever i see drama on this forum it's Paul in the thick of it as always!!! I scratch my head as to how he still has an active account.

Shame to see this 10yr. old thread locked. I propose that Mr. Lawson retain posts citing PBs and congratulatory responses---no niggles, critiques, advice, suggestions or superior wisdom offered in the thread. Private messaging is available to those who wish to solicit or offer helpful hints, wrangles, or histrionic exhibitions. One rule for all.

Now say someone is claiming a 30r20 PB, if you look at Anths first 3 splits they read r21, huge difference
r20 and r21, a true 30r20 all splits must be r20.

Great row Anth by the way, only using your row as an example

"What training have you done today" page 1112 go down 12 steps, now if anyone was claiming
a 30r20 PB based on this it can't be, and yes r21 could mean first few hundred r22's crept in
.
Thanks for the interest.

Btw you're incorrect on the splits. Only 1 split for the entire piece was 21r!!!

Thanks. I was very proud of that session, and getting over 7500 for 30:00 was one of my goals!!

If you post up the right session it would be great, get a ban for what, Dougie kept my reply today and deleted yours
and blah blah blah.

Im only trying to say r20 PB means all splits at r20 not r21 which means the odd r22 stroke, huge difference.

Please go to what training have I done today, ive done it for you.
For causing so much drama on here. You have some kind of agenda to nitpicking peoples sessions and training, instead of just getting on with your own stuff.

It seems it is the day of the 30 minute row. Set a PB of 7960 up from 7841. Admittedly, it has been a while since I have done on of these at an all out effort.
This wasn't to bad quickly got up to 246 watts rate 28 and held that for about 21 minutes as 8k was my target. Held to finish close but not today for the 8k.

Splits below as always:

If you folks can't play nicely then some use of the "smiting ban hammer" will start happening.

Can we keep the language clean and avoid the f-bomb, Mr G-Dub?

Paul, not a week goes by without you being mad, I can,t be boddered anymore, you mess up threads time after time. You should stop posting right away, maybe after a cool down you could controle yourself a bit better.

Been lurking around the board for a time without being registered now, so about time to register and post some PBs.
Got my concept2 rower at Christmas 2016 and been rowing since the start of 2017. Original goal in 2017 was to row 1k in 3:15, I see I have to adjust that a bit.
Current PBs(all done in May/June):

1 min best: 356m, avg pace 1:24,2, DF: 214

1k: 3:07,9, avg pace 1:33,9, DF: 217
Splits:
0:38.1 200m 1:35.2
0:38.2 400m 1:35.5
0:37.9 600m 1:34.7
0:37.4 800m 1:33.5
0:36.3 1,000m 1:30.7

Did a 5k race just for "fun" as I'm more focused on shorter distances.
5k: 17:18,2, avg pace 1:43,8, DF: 161
Splits:
3:32.5 1,000m 1:46.2
3:30.2 2,000m 1:45.1
3:27.6 3,000m 1:43.8
3:25.8 4,000m 1:42.9
3:22.1 5,000m 1:41.0
41y/o, 187cm, 93kg
PBs(Ski/Row): 500m 1:17.4 WR/1:23.5 -- 1K 2:49.3 WR/2:59.5 -- 2K 6:17.0/6:17.0 -- 5K 17:10.2/16:45.5 -- 6K 20:18.3 -- 10K/r24 35:24.7 -- 1' 396m WR -- 4' 1346m WR/1306m -- 30' 8420m/8659m

Marius, good work, relative speaking that 5k is your strongest distance, you could do races, you would do pretty ok. Races are mostly 2k. Sub 6.30 for 40 plus is solid. Sub 6.10 worldclass.

Wow, something for me to aim for. Impressive for a relative newcomer to erging.

Your 5K time is far better than mine, but your 1K not so much. I do everything at a much lower drag (about 120, whatever the distance) and I just wondered if you might do even better over the shorter piece if you lower it?

Hear, hear! DNA-Rower's accomplishment should have attracted more positive attention from several of us yesterday. I apologize for ALL of us who "lost the thread."
