10,000m 39:05.6 or 1:57.2 average pace at 18 spm HR 162 average.

Will have a serious go later in the season, should be able to do 1:55 pace at 20 spm.
Carl, go crazy pull a 24/25 one B)

Wow -- my goal for the year is just to get within a few seconds of 40 minutes. Congrats, even if it was just in training.

Very solid, disciplined row Carl. Those low rate, long 200w+ rows are brutal. Armando.....exceptional effort!

3:13.1 for 1000m - beat the old one by 1.5s. Missed my target pace of 1:36 though - legs completely tied up with about 300m to go. Split paces over 200m were:

1:34.2
1:33.5
1:35.2
1:39.2
1:40.2

Almost quit about 400 to go but held to finish. I reckon 1:36 pace is on if I do it again with better pacing at the start.

That's PBs over 500, 1000, and 5000 over the last couple of months. New 2K should be in the bag!

Unbelieveble poor pacing

But indeed well done. Up untill 700 m you should still feel ok, from there it should go down. After the first 100 you should get at your cruising pace. The 4th 200 should the slowest.
200/600 meter was way to fast here.

I know, it just felt so 'easy' and at about halfway when my average pace was about 1:34 I had visions of smashing my target and coming in under 3:10. Yeah right! I'll have another go in a few days and pace it properly, as I intended to today.

Just give it a few goes, take your time. You have the form to really smash your pb. Use it! Dare to go "easy" its all about the last minute.

Second attempt - how's my pacing on this one :D

3:11.6 - 200m split paces of 1:36.0, 1:36.5, 1:36.2, 1:35.7, 1:34.5

Don't think I could have done much better really. Stuck to the plan for the first 600m then put my head down, closed my eyes and tried to maintain/pick up pace. Legs gone for the last 200ish so shortened the stroke and raised the rate, managing to pick up to 1:34.5.

Very pleased, 2K next. Any predictions, given this 1K and my recent 5K of 18:19.5? 6:48 target I reckon.

Better, rating included would give more info. First split maybe a bit slow, 4th maybe not slow enough
Shortening the stroke is needed, if not you leave some. But great ofcourse, nice chunk extra off. :D

1k 135.8 5k 1.50 2k will be inbetween :P  14.2 seconds difference. You proberly know best yourself. The gap is pretty big. Not far from mine though.

My 2k was 1k plus 8, or 5k minus 7.

Stroke rates for the splits were 34, 33, 33, 34, 44
I did the first 10 strokes without worrying about the pace - it was 1:33 or something similar, and then settled down to a 'steady' 1:37, aiming to pick up to 1:36 with 600 to go, 1:35 with 300 to go and as fast as possible last 100.
