Yesterday; 15 k nice and easy 2:08 pace. But extremely sore butt for some reason.

Tonight: (4) x 2000m at 1:58

Hit 'em all at 1:57.9, 213 watts 26-27r. Slowly working my way down. looking to get to 1:55 before the wheels come off. Not a brutal effort tonight by any means, but I'm starting to feel 'em. This year I'm looking for a nice long slow build to the race season. Truth be told I plan on getting back under 7:00 again. I have a totally different plan this season from last year. Feeling pretty good logging a steady 65 to 70k per week. I'm going to lose a week due to work travel next week, After that the schedule is clear and the final prep begins!
Thanks Edward!

I'm with you on long steady build up to the race months. I like your chances of sub 7:00. You're certainly paying your dues as far as meters go, on top of a well structured plan.

Screw it, I'll post it:

60', 14,849, r25, 2:01.2

I am starting to think I can get to 15K this ranking year, and this Is a nice stop along the way. Top 25% in my age bracket. Never thought I would get there at this distance.

Done it! 1:24:12.7 for the HM - average pace 1:59.7

Set up with 5000m splits, with the plan to stick to exactly 2:00.0 for the first 20K and then go for it for the last 1097m. Did exactly that, although in the PM4 memory the times came out as 1:59.9 Managed to speed up for the last 1097 hitting 1:55.8

That's another PB ticked off this year. In fact I think that's all of them!

Why would you not post it? Well done Glenn, it´s not far from there to get to the 15 as front figures.

Yes, but the 10K and 1 hour were before May so they're next on the hit list. Sub 3 hour marathon too, but I don't think that'll be a problem.

After I do some of these it feels like I could do better, until an hour or two later and then the next day! Thanks HD and Jack.

I have been using the c2 rower as a rehab tool for a knee injury in April and op in June. whilst my walking isn't up to scratch yet and i certainly can't run - I have recently got several pb.
Today was
2000M 8:50.8 2:12.7 82 of 178 54th 11/9/2015 4:21:00 PM 48 H

That is 3 seconds better than my old pb from several years ago. So feeling pretty good.

Nice work, Alison! Best put the rehab before the speed but the "several" PBs suggest you're managing both very well.

Thanks. I started off easy and tried a few of the times and distances. At first I was way off but quickly got closer - got the all clear from the doc to build some muscle up and push it a bit for a review in March and see if I need the acl recon as well. The rower has really helped me get back flexibility in my knee joint.
