First of all, I never said anything I said was fact. I said it was from my own personal experience what I thought. I never said I was absolutely right. You need to chill out.

I don't own an erg personally, but I use the ergs at our boathouse. I am an on water rower, and I do erg with my damper at a 6-7 along with everybody else on my team. My coach rowed for Duke, and if we really concerned about us ruining the ergs, he would say something. He knows what he's talking about.
