I'm sure that you could with a high enough rating. For a sprint you are working mainly anaerobically and so breathing once per stroke if fine. The snaking chain is disconcerting but ultimately works and holding sub-1:30 at R60+ isn't that impressive. Forgive my ignorance, but what is the "snaking chain"? I'm aware that to get below 1:30 in a sprint would probably involve short, ugly strokes to start off.
It's basically where the recovery sequence of the stroke is too fast to ensure a level chain retraction. Essentially the speed of the recovery overtakes the chain, and leads to it slackening or snaking.
