Same, went the bubble wrap route in a small towel and it made a world of difference.
Cheap, quick and easy to pad to your own liking.

Thanks, Everybody. My HM event was held today. I was able to row the full race at a PR pace on an unpadded seat with little or no pain/numbness. The trick was stretching based upon the attached youtube video and the three companion videos. I did the stretches daily over the past few days. Based upon all the suggestions, I think each of us has our own physiology and therefore our own cure for seat pain. Stretching worked the best for me. https://youtu.be/AC-AbMvKUI4

Best. - Chris

I am going to try that stretching before and after rowing. I watched them and did some of the stretches and I can really feel it. Worth a try for sure. Thanks for posting.

Good luck with it. Before I started these stretches and rollouts, I would start feeling tight at about 30' and begin to get numbness in my legs at 45'. Those symptoms took much longer to take hold on Sunday. Best. - Chris
