Excellent work! The one minute is hard because it's almost a dead sprint the whole way.
Thanks Keith. Yep, although like every length when you're tickling a PB its by definition as fast as you can go. The joy of sprints for me is that the pain is over sooner! Got my certificate from C2 today - another nice reminder.

First workout of 2025, having been off the skierg over the Christmas break (and some asthma problems too), surprised to see what was expected to be a steady 30 mins skiing turn into a 200m PB - up to 6,813m :D Also above the 50th percentile mark, above the average distance for my age, and in the top half of the rankings :D :D

Just gotta do something about the belly now...

That's a big increase especially with so much time off

Yep, I was surprised.

I was away from home over the Christmas period, just did a couple of runs and some strength training. Am wondering whether I might be over-training, aerobic-wise (whether interval or steady-state) and need to incorporate more lighter days.

Hi all.

As mentioned I will be competing in the Hamburg ergo marathon in March. I thought I’d use the opportunity to raise some money for British Heart Foundation.

Please see link below and thanks in advance for any donations.
