@HornetMax: sub 7 is never a walk in the park
For most. But for you it now is ... I mean, you have more than 5sec/500 to spare: if it's not a walk, it's like jogging at best

1973, 173cm (5'8"), LW, started rowing Sep 2021 (after 10 years of being a couch potato),

Today was undecided which test to do on the rowerg, 2k vs 5k. Not a rest day since 23th August so need one shorter.
New Pb on 2k rowerg!
Time Meters Pace Watts Cal/Hr S/M Hr
6:37.2 2,000m 1:39.3 357 1530 33 178

I knew you would get a very good result, but it's important to note that despite what a load of numbers could look like, it's never easy, even if it feels manageable

It is never ever easy and I like that. If it will ever feel easy, I wouldn't do it, that's why I'm in endurance sports

Totally agree. It never gets easier, you just get better, and that's how it should always be.

Luckily I don't face much stress at work currently. Had enough few weeks ago, so it's nice when stress releases a bit. Hope for you it will get better in January

I managed a 2K PB today at the BRICs in Birmingham getting an improvement of 0.9s with a time of 6:45.6. It was my first ever indoor rowing competition. This morning I would have said I'm not doing this again, but I think I probably will
