Got my 10k sub-37 today, taking ~29 seconds off my PB. That was probably a little overdue given my solid fitness and recent HM PB, but milestones are always particularly nice, especially as I'm currently stuck on the wrong side of a milestone for the 1 hour!

After failing my attempt last Monday, I made sure to properly prep myself over the weekend, and logged my first ranked workout of the season today, a new "late-30s" PB in the 6k:

Have been prepping myself mentally for the C2 May marathon challenge and finally had my head sorted today to approach the distance.

At minimum sub 3 hour was the goal but was more significantly looking to cover the distance cleanly as my last marathon effort was 8 years ago and was ugly, poorly paced sufferfest, and challenging throughout. Really happy to have put up controlled negative splits across the piece and also a new PB!

Mission complete and a sub three result is a great milestone to be proud of.
