Put in lots of high intensity work in this week and my aching thighs just couldn’t face another one today. So I decided to have a go at my 5k PB and took 32 seconds off it. Concrete proof that high intensity intervals work!

Congratulations, that's a massive improvement. PB is a PB! I bet that 1 second hurt like hell though! Always funny how with some of the longer distances you can shave 5-20 seconds off depending on the day/training done, etc, and they feel like you're fully in control, yet the shorter distances are sometimes a second or less and they hurt way more.
