HI Im 14 and 2/3 and I started rowing on a C2 in November last year. I used to swim competitively before that. I'm just wondering if rowing will help or not effect or stunt my growth. Im 5"10, row 5 KM 3-4 days a week and run 20-40 mins 3-4 times a week.
Thanks
Height problem
Exercise does not stunt growth. While the following articles is regards to weight lifting, it equally applies to other exercise: http://www.teenbodybuilding.com/derek42.htm
It is unfortunate that the "exercise stunts growth" myth is so widely believed when the major health issue facing us is obesity.

Re: Height problem
You need to train very much more to adversely impact health.sawellesley wrote:HI Im 14 and 2/3 and I started rowing on a C2 in November last year. I used to swim competitively before that.
