ALthough I got off to a rocky start this time (4.1k in exactly 20:00 WITH a break to drink carbs to replenish energy) as opposed to last year's holiday challenge when I started out with ~8k my first day, I still plan to make the 200k mark.
I did it on the PM2 (I hope that the Holiday Challenge allows that) on the older C2 rower. I tried that newer one (where I work at) but for some reason I didn't like them. I guess though I will have to get used to them, as I may do some rowing there.

I managed to get in a 45 minute session on turkey day and a 15K (1:04:30) the Friday after. Then hit a couple of 25 minute sessions over the weekend after rowing in the quad both mornings. All were on my Model B. Having to squeeze these things in between travel for work and other obligations but going to give the 200K a shot again.

I've been rowing only about 6 weeks, but think I'm up for the 100k. I didn't even think I was going to try it until last night I finally got my meters online and noticed I was already 15k in. I think I'm going to aim for 150k, as 200k would be a longshot. Fianlly got my TV in front of the rower and did my first 7.5k tonight!
Well the 15th of December will be my last day on the erg (due to travel) and I missed the first three days (eating too many left over pies). I kind of dug myself into a hole, but always being up for a challenge I've logged 41,000 meters in the last the days. Maybe I have a shot at the 200,000 afer all. I kind of like the logo for this year. If I make it it will look good when I treat myself to my annual Holiday Challenge sweatshirt.
If you don't try, you will never know how bad you suck.

I am doing the 50,000 meters challenge for minors since I'm only 14. It's hard to find enough TIME to row, especially now that semester finals are coming up. It's been really fun though, I only have about 9,000 meters left, so I should be done by about Sunday. That is, if my back is better, it was hurting earlier.
