first 2k 3/23- 8:12.1
2nd 2k 5/14- 8:01.6
3rd 2k 6/2- 7:52.9
I rowed 5 x wk , 3 days of 10-12k mod,modhard, bracketed with short intervals, long intervals ( a PetePlan without the hard 10k)
I'm 62,M, 150, 6"

Thanks for the helpful responses and encouragement. Since I posted, I improved my 2k time from 8:13 to 7:45 and my 30-minute distance from around 6700m to 7260. Not stellar times but a siginficant improvement with room for more, I think. I even found a deal on a clean Model C/PM2 (over 1600 km's, though) for $375, so now I don't have to go to the gym to use it.

I'm 48yo, lightweight.
First 500m row was about 1:55., two years ago. April of this year it was 1:33.7, looking to get under 1:32 soon. Don't remember my first 2k but I know it was WAY over 8:00, currently 7:38.4. 1k time went from somewhere over 4:00 to 3:35.8. I've put about a half-million meters on my rower in the last two years.
