I've always loved indoor rowing, but never kept it up on a regular basis. I am back rowing a week did about 4 sessions.
Really i'm a runner and always believed the 2 activities complimented each other.
I am just coming back from a knee injury caused by tight quads so now am back on the road to fitness want to combine the 2 sports rowing will get me stronger and its low inmpact so thats got to help my running
I think i'm slow, well i know i am 2000m time of 11:48. Told ya, But this was after an initial 500m row and a 30 min run on the treadmill.
Decided to check with the instructors that my technique was ok. It is i just hve to pull harder, i guess my upper body strength is pretty weak.
So is there any hope for me?

You seem to be keen and motivated about keeping going, which is great. I'm still new to this, but logging my statistics after each row really help to keep me motivated. It helps you see that you truly ARE improving, if only a little, each day.
It's factual evidence, and you can't argue with that

I'd just go for relaxed distance and time, with no concern at all for the pace.
In fact you can cover the pace and just go for time and distance.
This will be the best way for your running.
