Hi everyone, I have one question and hope somebody will answer me.
What is the difference between heart rate when I do the erg and when I run? For example, is 180 bpm when i'm doing the erg the same as while i'm running?
Thanks, Ivana

180bpm is 180bpm regardless of what exercise you're doing.ivanans wrote:For example, is 180 bpm when i'm doing the erg the same as while i'm running?

The difference between exercises is the maxHR you can reach. It may be 180bpm while running, 160bpm while swimming but 200bpm while rowing. That's down to the different muscle groups being used and the different stresses and strains on your phsyiological systems.
