Indoor events

Post by Dutch » May 13th, 2024, 5:48 am

I am looking for indoor rowing events, not virtual but actual meets and apart from the BIRC site and some out of date ones on the
Concept2 site, there appears to be none around. Is there only really the Brit champs at the Nec this year in the UK? Surely not :?
Any enlightenment appreciated! :)

I think so Dutch. The English, Welsh and Scottish were all cancelled last year.

There's a rowing competition on Sunday in Manchester, but it's probably too late to enter now, but this gives me some hope that there might be another event that we don't expect.

It's the wrong time of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. It seems as though when the weather is good to row on the water, there are water regattas. When it gets cold and people move to indoor training, there are indoor races. I would expect for information to be published closer to the race dates.
