Great achievement, 7:00 is still a milestone and the sign of a good training.

Based on rowinglevel.com, you could expect :
- sub 19' 5k
- sub 39'30 10k
- sub 1h25 HM
- sub 2h56 FM
So you could build up across these distances? Maintaining a 60k/week volume.
France / 37 HWT (182cm-6' / 78kg-172lb)
100m = 0:17.0 | 1' = 342m | 500m = 1:34.0
1k = 3:24.7 | 2k = 7:13.1 | 5k = 19:36.2| 10k = 40:51.0
Mainly running, but enjoying rowing too B)

Oof - appreciate the vote of confidence but these benchmarks all feel a long way away right now!!! Even A 3hr marathon would be a wonderful achievement.

That's normal as you've optimized your training for a relatively short distance (2k) :)
If you aim for longer distances you'll change your training with more steady state and more long intervals workouts.
Or you can aim for 100m/500m/1k with anaerobic work :twisted:
France / 37 HWT (182cm-6' / 78kg-172lb)
100m = 0:17.0 | 1' = 342m | 500m = 1:34.0
1k = 3:24.7 | 2k = 7:13.1 | 5k = 19:36.2| 10k = 40:51.0

After over 1.2million meters, 100+ sessions and about six months of reasonably hard work, I finally hit a sub 7 minute 2km last week! 🙂
Congratulations!! Great milestone to achieve & really enjoyed reading about your journey.
