It has been a while since my last post (March 5th 2012).
Any of the old faces from 11 years ago still on here? I am back on the erg and loving it. Just had a full knee replacement so have taken the opportunity to help me get back to fitness.
Only a few sessions in, first target will be sub 20min 5000m.
Are you still going?
I'm gearing up for a fresh start, focusing mainly on the BikeErg, with the occasional row thrown into the mix.
Some of us are still missing your Sh*t Poems!

Fell off the erging wagon in December, only did 103,000m. Had the sniffles.
Will be upping the Km,s this month, should be sub 19 for the 5K by the 31st Jan 2024.
1609m - 5:07.3, 2000m - 6:24.0
3000m - 9:58.4, 5000m - 17:03.7
6000m - 20:44.2, 10000m - 35:42.8
21097m - 1hr 17mins 28.2secs

Been consistent the last few weeks, plodding away on the erg for an hour a day. Did an impromptu 5000m the other day.
1000m - 1:57.0
2000m - 1:56.1
3000m - 1:55.8
4000m - 1:55.3
5000m - 1:50.5
Time of 19:09.5 (1:54.9) r26
Felt far more relaxed and less effort required than the previous 5K's
Still on target of sub 19 by end of Jan 2024
