Private coach

Hello. Looking for help from the amazing rowers on this site.
I'm a mom of a 16 year old girl who has been rowing for a year. Her dream is to row in college however this year she suffered an injury that took her out of rowing for 8 weeks. She missed fall training and all regattas but one. She was put in the 5V boat and has had a difficult time catching up to her teammates and lowering her ERG score since missing so much time.
We're looking to find a personal coach to help her get stronger, work on techniques and lower her ERG score. How do I find a reputable coach? The internet is filled with options but we're new to the sport and don't know what to look for. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all very much.

Hey there! Are you looking for a good option near where you are physically located, or a virtual option? I assume you want customized one-on-one coaching due to the technique comment, but am I interpreting that correctly?

If that's right, given what you outlined, I would probably want to talk to them about their plans for building back from injury and missed time (you want a gradual approach to avoid reinjury), and about how they structure training over the longer-term to build while avoiding burnout. I don't know if you know enough to have a general approach to training that you feel good about, but I personally really like an approach that takes easy work fairly easy and hard work very hard; it's helped me to handle a relatively high load, progress well, and stay mentally fresh and happy about training. I sought a coach who works similarly and we work well together.
