Thankyou Dena!
Zwift on the bike has far more problems than someone only using a Concept 2 rower.kini62 wrote: ↑April 7th, 2021, 9:47 pmZwift has a similar issue. People tooling around a over 5 watts/kg endlessly. Or setting some ridiculous sprint times. This of course is done by those that are not using any type of power meter. But yet these obviously unrealistic times are allowed to get the "jacket award".
Surprised you didn't make a reference to Herge, Jack.
I have thanked C2 for this and many other things in the past. However, the ranking was removed before and showed back up (a coupe times) which started the whole annoyance with it all.jackarabit wrote: ↑April 8th, 2021, 8:31 amSo am I, Arem. What doesn’t surprise me is carrying Carl’s water and pissing on Concept 2 for two pages. Where’s the credit due C2 Rankings for responding and apparently talking the guy down from his flagpole?

I agree, I even posted that the guy was trying to prove some point or be funny or was really confused. Regardless looks to be fixed now.jackarabit wrote: ↑April 8th, 2021, 9:19 amAin’t cause Momma didn’t try, Keith.KeithT wrote: ↑April 8th, 2021, 9:06 amI have thanked C2 for this and many other things in the past. Haha, thanks Tony. I know how much the longer distances took out of me, but if it's at a lot slower pace it's possible, albeit highly improbable someone would want to devote so many hours to the erg for nearly a year.
Do you really want to get me started again ?Tony Cook wrote: ↑April 8th, 2021, 8:41 amMaybe adding fuel to the fire but I happened upon the annual metres section of the C2 site.
Has someone genuinely rowed an average of 83,000 metres every day for 340 days?
I am impressed with ‘our Stu’ rowing 20-30k every day but that pales against someone rowing over 2 marathons each and every day for nearly a year.
9 people are down as averaging over a marathon a day and 34 over a HM.
The forum used to be visited by a doctor who erged everyday for 4 hours. He burned 2000 calories a day, allowing him to eat whatever he wanted & still maintain his svelte boyish figure. This I find believably in the realm of the possible.hjs wrote: ↑April 8th, 2021, 1:16 pmSay you would erg 4 hours a day? Think that would be impossible? There are plenty of people who walk hours every day, cycle hours every day, why would some people not sit on a machine for hours a day? Its perfectly possible to do so, ofcourse some will be bogus, but it can be done.Carl Watts wrote: ↑April 8th, 2021, 12:57 pmDo you really want to get me started again ?Tony Cook wrote: ↑April 8th, 2021, 8:41 amMaybe adding fuel to the fire but I happened upon the annual metres section of the C2 site.

Of course rowing 83K every day for 340 days is horse shit. Do I need to start posting 100K every day to make a point ? Pretty sure I could row 100K every day but I will just manually enter the meters.
Don't worry tho a Jackrabbit will come to the rescue and piss on the Californian forest fire and put it out for you.
Did not look at the numbers. Only say its not impossible. Ofcourse 1.27 is fake and even 2.10 pace is unlikely.mict450 wrote: ↑April 8th, 2021, 2:11 pmThe forum used to be visited by a doctor who erged everyday for 4 hours. To erg 83,000 meters in 4 hours daily is stretching the truth a might. That would be maintaining a 1:27 split everyday. Maybe 6 hrs daily at 2:10 split, but who would want to spend that much time on any exercise machine? Mebbe if you were in solitary confinement at Pelican Bay. Viz: you don't have a life.
