Double Training Sessions?

Imo it all depends on what works for you. Jurg Whitehouse, as you know, rows every day but I have to have at least one day of total rest and probably two days off the erg, but that is just what works for me.

Give it a try and see how you feel / results it produces. I think I have made progress with doing more metres recently though.

66 going on 67. One time full on erger. Now Erging and BikeErging.
LWT is the norm.

I've gone straight into double sessions during this lockdown period to get in some good mileage as a relative noob. It has let me do that and I can recover pretty well between workouts, but I'm finding the quality of the morning sessions isn't great. Might retain a couple of the double-days just for UT2 but switch others to single, 2x10km sessions. Lower mileage but time spent in a useful training zone might not be too far different that way, since the first couple of km in each session presumably aren't good for much.
