I'm missing my erg (ski, bike, row) and strongman sessions at my s&c gym, but fortunately I have a rower and a home gym with enough equipment to keep me going for a while.

Very strange and unprecedented times we're in right now, and I feel very lucky to have the equipment I have available to me. Stay safe everyone!

My rowing club in Connecticut closed last week. The same week we were slated to get out on the water. They were kind enough to let us take the ergs home and we’re now all signed up for the latest C2 challenge. The coaches have posted lots of online workouts, but everyone is bummed not to be on the water and training for sprints.

A bit...insofar that once a week I goto a brilliant commercial gym called BodyWorld. They obviously have way more equipment to that which I have at home e.g. things like hex bars I will miss and a squat rack that has safety bars. I go for social and motivational reasons too, so I will miss those. I like to go to a cheap spa nearby sometimes and there is a sauna I use sometimes at a local council run place so I'll miss those recovery/wellbeing places too.

I am lucky to have a basement gym set up. Am locked out of boathouse though. Here’s a program I am playing with to work on stability/ mobility and also keep from getting bored.

Warm up:
- 5 semi naked Turkish Get Ups each side.
- Hang from a bar or rings for 20"
- 15 good mornings with a light bar
- sit at bottom of goblet squat for 1’

Begin light rowing or cycling for 10' or 15'

On the 10' or 15’ do a circuit of:
- 15 kettle bell swings
- 10 overhead squats
- 10 reps of a press (push-up, standing, bench)
- 30 band pulls focusing on pinching shoulder blades

At the end of the workout, 8 ab roll outs

Duration: usually 4 rounds.

Oh, on another site “naked” means without weight! I do the get ups with a light bell (16#) just to focus on the movement. All of the exercises are done with lighter weights to be able to do them “every day” and to stay focused on form and the movement

Ah - tremendous.

Certainly will be doing some TGUs. It is - for want of a better word - an interesting movement, that i find quite satisfying. Not sure what they actually do for the body, though.

For now, not affecting me too much. I have my own erg in the basement, and I have my strength training equipment in the garage. A semi-large property where the kids can play freely. I am still working in our office facilities, where we are about 15 out of the normal 100 people now.

My wife is at home with our 2 and 5 year olds, she is a teacher and working from home while watching the kids. She does a lot of the preparing for work at evening and weekends.

Working from home now and all appointments cancelled, can be challenging at times but when needs must and all that.

Have ergo at home so no change for me.

Vegas is a ghost town these days...gyms, casinos...all "non-essential" businesses closed. I have a decent garage gym at home...erg, platform, bumpers, KBs from 25 to 106 lbs and a sound system that always plays my favorite music. My routine has been pinched being in healthcare and working longer hours.

I have a decent home gym: the rower and slides, dumbbells, incline adjustable bench, kettlebells, recumbent bike, and stuff like rubber bands, abmat, abwheel, shoulderhorn, pullup bar.

As for impact to my training plan, I reduced my intensity a lot but also increased my volume a bit. However, I don't want to overreach or overtrain going into a possible illness so I am being careful at slowly increasing volume and keeping my exertion relatively low.

I row at an erg studio -- it closed last Monday because of the shelter in place order. They had hoped to reopen in early April, but I doubt that will happen.

We've made the decision to buy an erg for my use at home.
