You should be seeing df 210-220 on the new machine @ damper setting 10.

I suggest you do not continue to row at this drag unless its for short sprint or interval stuff. However, even then, unless you're built like a complete power house with a back of steel even that is too high. But experiment and find your ideal range that suits you.

I’d appreciate some advice from the experienced folks here. I’m a 68 y/o guy 5’7, 160. I’ve been rowing for a few years, but have had no coaching other than watching videos. At an average stroke rate of 22 I generally do 6,450 meters in 30 minutes. How do you use the stroke length and force measurements on ErgData? Is there a standard I should be aiming for? I do a mix of distance and sprint workouts throughout the week, but I can’t seem to reduce my time per 500 meters to any great degree. My own perception is that I’m not effectively connecting the phases of my stroke; especially in getting when to start the arms contracting. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
