Hi
This has most likely been discussed to death.
Anyone have any thoughts on rowprow?

I’m a big fan. Been using it for about 1 1/2 years now. What they advertise is completely true. Your commitment instantly rises when you do training plans. You wake up saying what am I assigned to do today rather than will I row/what am I going to do? The variety of cycled workouts I think really prevents burnout. I know I would push harder on my own, but I highly likely would flame out. I can’t believe the consistency I’ve developed. Basically have gone 1 1/2 - 2years without missing a day. Not sure I’ve improved as dramatically as I’d like, but it’s been a joy nonetheless.

Re: Rowpro
On my 11th year of using it. Every row is done Online only.
The software itself is great, the issues are because of the variety of personalities trying to use it. I have to be honest, the online rowing only suits a very small number of dedicated users, which is really disappointing as I was looking forward to the days that all 16 lanes were full. To many people think its about racing, its not its about regular training.
You need some reasonable hardware, bordering on a low end gaming setup to run it with no issues and high frame rates. Unfortunately it no longer runs well on the old junk PC's I used to get out of the rubbish bin and put a bit more ram and a graphics card in.
Current PC is a Hp i7 Z240 with 16Gb of RAM and a SSD with an Nvidia GTX750Ti graphics. It needs to be a PC that Windows 10 was factory installed on so you can still get up to date drivers and BIOS for Windows 10.
