60min 13475 @2:13.5 @25spm df 107. Nice! Added almost 200m to my previous best.

The gym was unexpectedly shut yesterday, so I accidentally got 2 days rest, so I thought: "What the heck, might as well use it for something". It went very smoothly with the pace between 2:13.8 and 2:13.1 (the final mini-sprint). A lot of the improvement was thanks to the guy who told me that I was hunching and not leaning back enough at the end of the stroke. It's still work-in-progress, but the difference is clear. Looking forward to giving the HM a shot next week, after another weekend of forced rest.

13475m is equivalent to 147W or 2.72W/kg, so using the Watts to Pace converter:
If I weighed 75kg I would have done 15038m @ 1:59.7
If I weighed 100kg I would have done 16544m @ 1:48.8

New 1min PB of 345m (+3) done with DF=136 and first stroke=2:04. Beforehand I'd already decided that 1:26.x would look quite nice. :D
So...we creep towards 350m (definitely bit more there as could feel I was pacing things in the middle and saw a few 1:28s):

Good lad and great PB, those 5 more metres will really hurt, but you'll get there...and soon by the looks of things

Congratulations! The 1min is really tough not to pace (to much) in the middle and not to die at the end ;-)

@hjs - Must get 1Kw :lol: Not tried sprints on the rower for a long time. Not sure if it translates any good on the sprints. I can still pull a sub 7' 2K@18spm so still some power left in the old chicken legs :lol:
@dangerscouse - Hopefully C2 will come with that solution on their next model :lol:

@gammmmo - Congrats, that is a great result. It would be interesting to see the workout graph. I get the best results with a mild fly&die. 350m next :wink:

It was 368m, if I remember correctly. Never really trained/cared for sprinting on the rower, I was more interested in 2-10K

New 4 minute WR(not confirmed by C2 yet) on the skierg yesterday. Beat my old record by 22m. Felt terrible halfway but managed to talk myself into continuing and prepare mentally for a final one minute sprint.
