New 1K PB/WR. My contribution for the Skierg Worldsprints so far.
Worst TT I have ever done..period! I have been struggling with a cold and sinus infection for a week. Realized that my target pace(1:24.5) for this TT was not going to happen at my current shape. Heavy on medication I still wanted to try my best
Went too fast on the second split and payed for it big time on the third, where I had to slow down to almost a stop as I was out of breath. The spilt average went up to 1:29 and had to pull 1.23's to get it down again. Died terribly with around 25 seconds left, but it does not show to good on the last split as I was pulling 1:23 at the start of it.
Used at least 20 minutes to get up from the floor  The motivation to do another 1K ever is totally gone at the moment

Pitty you just got sick. But even so, still a monster Time!

Ps why don,t you use ergdata? Will give you info about every stroke.

Well done for still getting it done, the fact you lay down shows how deep you still went, something most never come close to.
Now wait how others will do, could be close to absolute number 1

marius - just reading this is hard! So incredible.

As for me, I just did my third ever HM, taking it quite easy in 1:28:35.5 at 2:05.9, r22 and DF103.

My back has been in recovery for a good few weeks but I'm almost back to full strength.

Wow. Some of you are just scary impressive. No doubt it's been a lot of time spent in practice with solid coaching for more than a few of you.

I'm still relatively new to the C2; been rowing for a little over a year. Started with a 2k of 7:45 and have trimmed that time down to 6:47.8.

I'm 51, about 205#'s (give or take a few depending on hydration) and really enjoy rowing on the C2. Never rowed on the water and am quite sure I'd probably flip over and drown before the 2nd stroke. But I digress.

There are some PR's I have that don't seem particularly impressive to me - but I'll list them here. I strongly suspect some of you more seasoned folks will be able to provide some insights that may help me improve just by comparing shorter distances to the longer ones.

Some are not truly "Personal Records", as it never occurred to me to row only 100 meters for time. But, since I saw it as a category, I figured I'd try it.
I am confident, with fresher legs than I have now, I can do better.

100M - 16.9 seconds (short term goal is 15.5)
1 Minute - 331 Meters (short term goal is 365m)
500 M -- I remember doing a 133.4, but can't seem to duplicate the effort, so I'll revisit it next week.
1k - 3:15.5 (I'm pretty pleased with this; but would love to get it 3:00 - but since I haven't been able to get a 500m below 1:30, that's a long term goal.)
2k - 6:47.8
5k - 18:13.1 (Just did this one yesterday; my previous PR was 18:26.3 I wonder if trimming 13 seconds over such a long row is really anything special. But I do feel I emptied the tank)

As for the rest (10k,1/2 Marathon, etc. - I've not been able to sit on the rower beyond 7500 meters without my legs and hind end becoming quite numb, and that's with the tiny seat cushion that C2 sells. I don't think it's really much help in that regard. I've been on the lookout for some bubble wrap on various incoming packages, but not enough so far to make a decent cushion. Maybe it's something I just have to build up a tolerance to?

I have the feeling that my times are decent, at worst. But it's tough to know, because I don't think many people post their times on the C2 rankings.

Appreciate that. I've looked over multiple plans. Currently, just doing the "Crew-Fitness" work outs 2x a day at a local boutique fitness gym. It's an interesting workout. A brief warm-up/stretch routine, (5 minutes), followed by varying mini-workouts: 500M row, 50 push-ups, 50 sit-ups, 50 squats (no weights) - repeating as many times as possible in 10 minutes, a number of short planks, then perhaps a 250m row, 25 curls, 25 presses (as many rounds as possible in 7 minutes) - that sort of thing.

The class has helped me lose a lot of weight - to the point now where everyone is telling me I'm looking terribly fit and may want to increase my carb intake, before I lose my muscle mass.

I bought my own C2 last month and have tried to use it for much longer rows than we'd do in class. But man, just can't seem to sit on that chair for much more than 5-6k without my butt going numb. My membership expires on Dec. 31, so figured I'd start one of those plans, Wolverine or PP at that time.

Did my contribution to the skierg challenge this morning.

4:00.9, 56spm, df87.
Fairly happy with it considering I don't really ever do sprints.

New 500m WR on the skierg. It was very nice to see I managed to break 1:18. 0.4 seconds better than my previous record.
Two days of rest after the skierg world sprints has almost cleared my sinus infection and I was feeling ready for a proper TT :D
The pace for the first 400m are actually faster than my 1 min WR, so might have to give that one a go as well :)
