The website for RowPro and online rowing is https://digitalrowing.com/ Pam Loeffen and her husband Pete Loeffen founded the company. Pete is the chief programmer and Pam is online almost daily on Oarbits, to help anyone who wants to try RowPro online and who would like pointers for using it online for racing etc.

I have both versions of RowPro, the original PC version and also have the latest update of the Mac version. I alternate between using each version but I prefer the Mac version because there is less "tech" for me to cope with as far as maintaining the operating system, backing up, etc. But the PC version is a bit more sophisticated in some respects, such as the training program generator.

Rowing is good exercise for the body and cardio system.

Coping with technology and learning to use a new program and/or a new computer operating system is good exercise for the mind. Renowned American physician, Dr Weil, recommends the latter as an excellent brain exercise. https://www.drweil.com/health-wellness/ ... the-brain/

Very interesting comments regarding RowPro. I'll keep that in mind.

You mention Dr. Weil. I've heard of him and watched a video or two of him speaking. Seems like a bright fellow. Your mention of him reminded me of Mr. Gary Taubes. A year or two ago I read "Good Calories, Bad Calories", by Gary Taubes. I can't say it was a fun read, but it was very interesting. I learned a lot from that book. Some pretty amazing stuff in it really, as far as how nutritional recommendations came about and who influenced them and whether they've proven to be true, or not. Of course that's nutrition related, and you mentioned Dr. Weil relative to brain exercise. With all due respect, if all the same to you, I'll count on my work-related mental challenges to provide brain stimulation, instead of coping with new software technology  . (I could probably handle that though, if I put my mind to it).

Again, thanks for the interesting posts.
