good 2k times

Post by leviathan » April 11th, 2006, 10:48 am

I recently did a 2k and got 7min 24.2 secs.
I am 14 and about 59 kg.
Is this a good time considering my age and weight?

I would say that is a phenomenal time for a 14 year old that only weighs 59KG, especially since I am 37 and outweigh you by over 20KG and my PB right now is only 7:27! How long have you been rowing?

Yeah I am 18 and just started rowing also and just pulled a 7:11.8 so I would say you are doing really good...especially at that weight...I am sitting around 79 kg. and you are close so keep up the good work!

The key to ergos is to keep at them. You will hit walls that take time to get through, but you will get through them. I am 16, weigh about 77kg and row for school. I have trained quite hard for about 4 months and i have my time down to about 6:30.
