By definition "without oxygen" means you don't last long.

we can, we take breaks. Row, go very anaerobic........ Stop..... Row anaerobic .... Stop, repeat repeat....

Also doing work which involves the fast muscle fibers will be, partly anaerobic, the fast fibers will produce lactic, the slow fibers will clear this. This will cost lots of glycogen. And can be done pretty long.

Cycling training nutrition tips from Chris Froome below, written in April this year. Whilst he does cycle low carb training rides within his regime, in order to improve fat metabolism, he still certainly still makes sure he always gets plenty of carbs following hard training sessions and leading into race days.

Leo, Think we will continue to see more and more athletes spending a fair bit of time low carb and then using them mainly as a supplement for selected hi intensity efforts! I think it will prolong careers and ultimately lead to better performance over time.
