I've browsed the forums but not yet found anyone saying they use the "Programmed in" workouts on the PM3. Does anyone use them?
My training is varied and I've managed to get a few of the lads in DW's gym to try out the 9 x 1.40 & .20 rest wth the aim of beating 4000m in the 15minute workout. Some have got close, but none have yet managed it. There's no club near us for OTW so the gym is what we're stuck with.
My main exercise is a Pyramid, starting with a 500, .30 rest, 1000, 1.00 r, 1500, 1.30r, 2000,2.00r
1500, 1.30 r, 1000, 1.00r and finish with a 500 going like the clappers. A good intervals session of 8,000m.
Yesterdays session was done in 31.49. Todays session was a steady 2,000 in 7.48.9. At pushing 71, I feel I'm too old for this but it's good to know I can still wake up in the morning!
