Erging Intervals

I recently pulled a interval workout 4 min on 3 min off and did 4 set achieving a /500m of 1:49 average is that good?

Yeah not bad. A straight 2000 meters is kind of the gold standard in this sport, so try that one day and see how you do. Make sure you are fully rested before attempting an all-out test. Also in general make sure you are using good technique. A lot of people think they have good technique, but they don't, so really take the time to study good technique and do practice drills to make sure it becomes a habit.
