macher: Congrats on your first (of many) 2K tests.
The interactive plan is going to take very good care of you. You'll be surprised by how much improvement you see over a cycle.
DId you set it up for a 16 week cycle? I think that's the default.

Man your 2k is like 2:20 faster than me, LOL. I got a long way to go. I'm not really looking for speed but want to get fit. I assume better speeds mean I'm more fit though.
Would love to get below 8:00 by 26 weeks though.

And don't be afraid to switch things up if you start getting bored with one type of workout. Just don't overdo anything and you should be fine. ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Re: Adding UT2 volume
Just did a 60min session at 2:15/min and I kept my HR within the UT2 zone and I feel really happy about my progress. It also seems to help that I started lifting weights again after a 2 month break. Did a light 3x5 of ass to grass front squats last Friday with 80kg and another session on Monday. These two sessions seem to have made a difference already as my legs feel much better. It could of course be that I've done a daily 50-60min session for the past week... but I have the feeling that it's the squatting.
