I just found this app and perhaps it's just acting screw on my phone (I have an iPhone 5) but when I try to enter a split (say to calculate how long a 10k would take at a given split) it defaults to putting the colon in the tens place. So if I enter "1450" for a 1:45.0 split instead it will think I entered a 14:50 split :(

Anyone else with this issue?

Hmm, it shouldn't do that. This is the first time I've heard of this problem - sorry it happened to you. What happens if you use a leading 0?

I noticed this app is still in the App Store but that the website referenced does not pull up. Earlier in the thread there is mention of the app communicating with the C2 log site. Is that a part of the current version 1.3?

I would like to use an iPhone/iPad for tracking progress for the larger/brighter screen but don't want to not capture all data possible. I've read that the C2 application does not log splits. Is there anyone that has used this application and ErgData that can compare/contrast? Perhaps the Erg Calculator provides this and the domain is just down temporarily?

Glad it worked out. I always doubted whether to allow or not the leading 0. In practice, I quickly got used to adding the 0, and it is helpful with some computations. Sorry it wasn't clearer.

The website is down temporarily - it's being moved to a different domain.

I've tried to integrate with Concept2's online log - unfortunately, their documentation was outdated and I wasn't able to get the support I needed to make this work. ErgCalc as of now cannot integrate with C2's log.

ErgCalc is a different product than C2's ErgData. I developed ErgCalc to assist me (as a coach) with assessing my athlete's times. It has grown to be useful as a companion for rowers too, but it lacks some of ErgData's functionality: ErgCalc does not communicate with the erg, as ErgData does; and it doesn't integrate with C2's online log. I would love to add these features too, of course.

In terms of features, the most likely new feature I am to develop is the addition of training schedules. I find it a lack of the current PM software that you can't run a training plan that spans, say, a couple of sessions or even a few weeks. In theory, the iPhone would be great for this - for example, Super Sports Systems has done the same for a long period of time. I've started in that direction with the addition of Wolverine Plan level 4 workouts, which I used a lot with the rowers I coached.
