I think I might have found a solution, I have a fairly bony behind as well and was using the concept 2 foam pad and after around 10 minutes or so I'd have take a rest because of the cramping.
Solution: if you have the foam pad, take the two bone holes out and stick them vertically right beside the bone holes, it transfers more of the weight to the surrounding butt region and I am now able to row 25 minutes without taking a break although I still get a little sore. But hey it's alot better. Hope this helps
