Hello CMS, You could join "Empty the Tanks'. We are a world-wide team of around 55 rowers of all ages and rowing abilities.
If you go to my blog it will tell you how to sign up for the team and inter-club competitions (like the current Fall Rowing Challenge which started on the 15th Sept).

Hi CMS, congrats on picking up a Concept2 rower. I got mine a little over a year ago and it's been great, especially the teams. It's fun to participate in the challenges and just keeping touch with other teammates for encouragement and a little fun harassment;) All the teams are great, I'm on TimbukTOO and like Caroline said we're in the Fall Rowing Challenge which is just fun motivation to row as a team to accumulate meters.

LiveStrong.............Rowstrong..............TimbuktOO!!!!!!

No matter what team you choose to join..you will get motivation just by being in the Concept2 community.Your goals are important and it is never a race or competiton unless you decide that is your goal. All meters count toward your goal..being a team member just makes you accountable and that is important when you establish a plan.

Have fun and enjoy the ride!!!
