My neighbor below me, whose son was slepping in the living room, just moved. Now I can go back to my normal schedule of getting up at 12:30 AM to get my 12 to 15 K in. Woohoo.

I hope you don't get another neighbor that blasts their boom box or hates the quiet hum of your erg. Are you on a Model C? I bought some aerobic exercise mats (18" x 18" snap together type) that really deaden the sound, as well, I use a C-Breeze. If you get another neighbor like the last, take a look at both options!

I love rowing late at night, it is much cooler and I can focus without interruptions.

Glad to have you back rowing without conflict.

I have a model D. My prior neighbors prefer I row early in the AM, because you cannot hear the rower from the bedroom. I just like rowing before going to work. I've been working 55 to 60 gours a week since March, and what little time I have after work I'd rather walk in the local park.

I used a Model D about a year ago.... It was so quiet that I can't imagine anyone complaining (sleeping or not). Good luck on your future rowing.

This neighbor complained I was running my dishwasher at 3 in the morning. What it was is the cleaning station to my Braun Electric Razor. Even the landlord told her there was nothing she could do. Good riddance. Funny thing is I listen to TV and stereo with a set of headphones on. As far as I'm concerned I'm a very quiet neighbor.

For all of the hell you've gone through with your current neighbors you may as well go ahead and light off a few M-80s around 3:30am. Do this just before a solid 10K.
