Lightweight looking for a team

Post by boomingaway » June 23rd, 2020, 7:37 am

Hey everyone,

I am a crossfitter who has finally started using my erg during the lockdown. I am on the verge of being converted to rowing. I've been rowing 150-200k meters each month for the last 3 months and this just might be my new passion. My numbers aren't great but steadily improving. My prelockdown 2k was 7:51, and I'm hoping to go sub 7:20 this weekend at the BRVC. I'd love to join a team to talk to other rowers and do the CTC with. I've looked at a few teams, threads, etc, but it's all a bit overwhelming and I have no idea which one to join. Thanks for listening!

How's bizness, B? Boomin’? You look to be having a go in the training subforum! Second the motion to get you on the team and registered for CTC. The Brit Virtual is a topic of interest also so wishing you good fortune there.
