Where to row in London?

Hello :) I am a 20 year old female college student (5'10", ~160lbs) from Philadelphia with almost 8 years of rowing experience. I will be studying abroad in London (South Kensington area, I believe) from September until December of 2014. With so many clubs in London, I am unsure where to start when selecting a place to row. Is there anyone who rows in the area that would be willing to advise me? I currently row for a competitive university (approx 20 hours/week) and am looking for something similar or even more challenging. Which clubs are the most competitive and what kind of 2k standards are the athletes held to? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! :D

There's more rowing on the Thames than you can shake a stick at three stops down on the Tube from South Ken.
